1) Answer the following questions about water and plant:

a) Why is water called an excellent solvent?

b) Why the plants require excessive water?

c) What types of transport systems are used by water for transport ?

2) What are the energy producing organelles in plants? Why can they work independently?

3) Draw the steps of the cell cycle and describe them.

4) Actin and microtubules show dynamic instability. Explain the concept.

5) Describe the concept of secondary active transport.
