Week 1-04/16/12- Introduction and overview of course.

Week 2-04/23/12-Introduction of Moodle by Mark de Boer. Lecture on communication skill and presentation (points in communicating with others and making a presentation)

Week 3-05/07/12-continued lecture on presentation/communication skill

Week 4-05/14/12- continued lecture on presentation/communication skill, practicing verbal communication among students

Week 5- 05/21/12- presentation example, Points to concentrate during evaluation of a presentation, Parallel course of presentation skill

Week 6-05/28/12- Oral presentation practice from the students

Week 7-06/04/12- Oral presentation practice from the students

Week 8-06/11/12- Student's evaluation on their presentations in moodle

Assigning journal article for abstract writing (two journal articles; one for the class and one for home assignment to write abstract of the article)

Week 9-06/18/12- In-class assignment - Writing an abstract

Take home assignment on writing abstract and evaluation by students of abstracts in Moodle

Week 10-06/25/12- Discussion on writing

Week 11-07/02/12- Discussion on making poster for presentation, Home assignment on evaluating a poster in Moodle

Week 12-07/09/12- Discussion on poster presentation evaluation. Student’s feedback on the course

Week 13-07/18 - Final exam

Discussion and participations of the respective students on week 4,6,7,8,9 and 12 will be evaluated as mid term exams. 50% of the final grade will be given from these classes.
