TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Courses:

General Plant Biology: (A106) This course is offered to the 2nd year undergraduate Biology major students. The course covers selected topics from anatomy, cell biology, genetics, morphology, physiology and molecular biology.

 

Advanced Plant Molecular Biology (植物分子生物学特論): (LTA9) This is a graduate level course offered in spring semester. It covers the molecular techniques, molecular aspects of  plants response, hormone transport and signaling in considerable detail, emphasizing discussion and critical analyses of publications.

 

Plant Physiology experiment (植物生理学実験): (B102, shared) 2nd year undergraduate student lab course, which covers plant physiology experiments with hormones, mutant analysis, bioinformatics, protein extraction and analysis.

 

Scientific reading (科学文献読解法): (A036, shared) This course is offered to the 3rd year undergraduate students aiming to improve their English Journal reading ability, understanding and presentation.

 

Introductory Biology (生物入門): (A007, shared) Introductory course for the first-year student. Plant anatomy, Organelles, development, photosynthesis, hormonal regulation of plant development are being taught.

 

Basic Seminar(基礎ゼミ): This course is offered to the 1st year undergraduate students to introduce the research topic and research lab.

 

Science Communication: (IU 1000& 1001 till 2017) This course is designed to help the graduate students to improve their presentation and communication skills.

 

Writing skill: (IU 1140 till 2017) This is a graduate level course designed to help the graduate students to improve their writing skill.
